For me, riding is all about freedom.

It’s that feeling of falling in love

You know, the type that makes you do things no one else understands? It’s the mystery of wondering what’s around the next corner, over the next hill or past the next mountain. Not to mention everything in between to see, feel and even smell along the way.

It’s that sense of adventure that keeps me coming back for more. It's kind of like reliving the thrill of youth, gathering friends for rides and sharing amazing views and experiences. I have so many unforgettable memories that have come from riding, which is exactly why I organize these tours. I want others to share that same feeling of the joy that comes from exploring the world on two wheels. It’s unlike any other and I invite you to experience it for yourself.

Why Chaparral ADV?

When I was younger, my father was a hunting guide for his own outfit, Chaparral Hunting Adventures. He’d take me along, eventually teaching me how to navigate the backcountry on my own. When I was eight, I convinced him to get me a dirt bike. I worked hard all summer long and on the day it snowed, it finally arrived - I was overjoyed! The snow didn’t stop me and I rode around the farm all day until it got dark. It was the moment I fell in love with motorcycles.

That’s the story behind the Chaparral ADV logo. It’s an homage to my father’s old business, a blend of the white-tailed deer we would hunt and my first photo ever taken while riding a dirt bike. It’s a constant reminder of my backcountry roots and my love of riding.
